Infants from Newborns and up
Our nursery has been specially designed to create a warm and secure environment for infants to sleep peacefully, eat and play.
Teachers sing songs and read stories to encourage language acquisition, encourage motor skill development by tossing and ball around and more. Teachers also spend lots of time cuddling and talking to babies to instill a sense of trust and to provide a healthy learning environment.
Cherry Blossom Learning Center’s curriculum is designed and implemented to meet and exceed the Florida Early Childhood Education Standards.
This classroom transitions infants to toddlers – they will acquire new vocabulary and practice self-help skills. Shapes, colors and numbers will all be introduced. A big emphasis will be placed on exploration and the importance of books.
Toddlers 12-36 months
At Cherry Blossom, Toddlers are Big People
Toddler life is marked by rapid growth in language acquisition, self-sufficiency, and social skills. Cherry Blossom Learning Center's Toddler program is designed to maximize each child’s education, as well as their social and emotional growth. Families will receive regular feedback on their child’s progress.
Developmentally appropriate lessons are introduced to toddlers at CBLC. All activities are fun-filled but designed with clear cognitive goals.
Emphasis is placed on exploring and playing together as toddlers begin their understanding of socially appropriate behavior
3 Year Olds Exploring the World... Preschool-Style
At CBLC, each classroom for three-year-olds has developmentally appropriate learning centers. Activities in our center-based curriculum will prepare your child for success in primary school. School readiness activities in English language pre-reading, writing, counting, number recognition, and problem-solving are presented in a fun-filled but purposeful manner.
The exploration of early learning continues in areas of dramatic play, science, and art. Emphasis is placed on cooperative play as children develop their understanding of socially appropriate behavior.
To support our charges' learning, Cherry Blossom offers a secure and loving environment with an established routine and written daily communication with families.
Free VPK for 4 years old
Cherry Blossom's Pre-Kindergarten program provides a wide variety of planned activities centered around preparing four-year-olds to excel in kindergarten.
Educational activities are offered in areas of science, music, art, language, early reading and numbers and early math in our eight developmentally appropriate learning centers.
Cherry Blossom Learning Center’s curriculum is designed and implemented to meet and exceed the Florida Early Childhood Education Standards.
Children learn the alphabet and letter sounds, numbers and simple math and master early writing skills. Computers, loaded with educational software, are an integral part of the program. Children are encouraged, and staff is required, to verbally exchange ideas as the building of expressive and receptive vocabulary skills is an essential program initiative.
Before & After School care
Cherry Blossom will be offering kindergarten to children eligible for the Step Up For Students Program, which is a Florida Tax Credit Scholarship born of a desire to help children whose household income tends to limit their options in the educational arena.
Summer Camp
Cherry Blossom follows the Competency-Based Curriculum developed by Miami-Dade County Public Schools, which reflects the standards and objectives stated in the Florida Sunshine State Standards.
Any preschool can help a child learn letters, numbers, or shapes. At Cherry Blossom, we help children learn how to learn.
